It isn’t uncommon for the thought to cross one’s mind “damn, time goes fast!”. Though perhaps Seneca wouldn’t have cursed (but who knows?), he had contemplated much on the shortness of life. Heck, I look at my calendar as I’m typing and I see that it’s already February 6, 2023. Pardon the french, but wth?!?
There’s a lyric I like that goes:
“I believe that days go slow and years go fast.”

How true indeed. This makes for a rather odd conundrum - oftentimes, our days seem long. The drive to work, the 8-hour work day, the drive bag, the hour in the gym, etc. It can sometimes seem like an endless drag. At the same time, we look up and all of a sudden it’s December 19, 2023 (it isn’t yet; didn’t mean to scare you).
