Hello friends,

Here is the latest Q&A session. I hope it proves fruitful, and I’d love to see you at the next one!

Brandon

Summary

The conversation explores the topics of passion, anger, and worry in the face of geopolitical and humanitarian turmoil. It delves into the challenges of finding value in work and the Stoic perspective on emotions. The chapters cover technical difficulties, the struggle between personal passions and financial obligations, the feeling of helplessness towards global issues, living according to nature, and the balance between expressing anger and maintaining virtue. The conversation also touches on the importance of seeking personal growth and the potential pitfalls of removing external challenges in the pursuit of peace.

How Do I Join the Q&A Sessions?

I hold Q&A sessions through Riverside studio. Invites for these events are sent out through Substack a day or two before the event is held with the link for the studio. Listeners will hear the live talk (which will later be refined into a podcast episode), and be able to partake in a Q&A and discussion afterwards. (Note that if you would like to “call in” to the studio, you will need to be using a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile listeners will be able to type questions in the chat.).

How Do I Get Access to the Q&A Recordings and Transcripts?

The Q&A recordings and transcripts are only available to Substack Premium subscribers and my Patreon supporters. Everyone can join the live Q&As.
